All week the Smart Living team heads out to discuss a somewhat misunderstood aspect of modern day medical practice- Nuclear Medicine. We will be joined by a local radiologist who will help define what the term Nuclear medicine means and why it is an integral part of today’s medical study. Matuschka will have a story on medical procedures you may or may not be familiar with that use nuclear-level technology and tell us how they are used. Victoria will discuss brain chemistry and help answer the question, are you who you are because of nurturing or by nature? And finally, Wes will take a look at the medical profession itself and tell us what it takes to be a student of Nuclear Medicine and why it is a rapidly expanding field.
